This simple baked tofu is crisp and flavorful, and it only takes 5 minutes to prepare, 35 to bake.

Ingredients:
- 1 block extra firm tofu
- 1/4 cup ginger garlic paste [I get mine from the international market]
- 4-5 tbsp soy sauce, depending on your salt preference
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp Korean doenjang paste
- 1/2 tsp brown sugar
- 1 green onion, sliced
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Slice the tofu into 1/4″ thick pieces. Place tofu slices on an oiled baking pan.
Make the sauce by mixing the ginger garlic paste, soy sauce, sesame oil, doenjang paste, and brown sugar. Pour sauce over tofu slices in baking pan. Bake for 20 minutes, then flip tofu over, and bake for another 15 minutes. Serve over white rice with green onion as garnish.
